Another look at the illustrations from the new Girls Kissing book, this time the work of Kristina Gehrmann from Germany. Kristina was commissioned to create “Sapphic Sleeping Beauty” an affectionate twist on the classic fairy tale.

I worked with a number of illustrators when putting Girls Kissing Volume 1 together. They were all found online and came from various different countries. What I wanted from each illustrator was a classy ‘painting’, worthy of any leading publication, to punctuate certain points in the book. I was very pleased with the results, and thought that all the illustrations were top notch.
In this post I’ll take a detailed look at one of the illustrations I commissioned -
